SMS/Text Message Terms

WayPoint Marketplace (operated by Waypoint Dynamic) sends text messages to homeowners and contractors who use waypoint.construction. This page explains our SMS program and how to manage it.

What messages we send

When you opt in, WayPoint Marketplace sends transactional text messages only:

• One-time verification codes (2FA) — when you sign in, verify your phone number, claim a contractor listing, or reset your password.
• Account notifications — activity you asked to be notified about, such as a new bid on your project or a bid being accepted.

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

How you opt in

You opt in to receive text messages when you either (a) enter your mobile number to receive a one-time verification code, or (b) turn on “Text me account notifications” in your account Settings. By doing so, you consent to receive the messages described above at the number you provide.

Message frequency & rates

Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

How to opt out or get help

Reply STOP to any WayPoint text message to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help, or email us at hello@waypoint.construction.

Privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

“123456 is your WayPoint Marketplace verification code. It expires in 10 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out.”
